Object-oriented approach to processes

This is a feature request from Simon Bushell:

"I think your code would be a lot more flexible, and a lot more easier to extend and maintain if it was bundled into objects. For instance you could define a class that represents each process as an object, with attributes such as its PID and memory usage, and methods that would allow it to be killed etc. You could then bundle it into some sort of Process Manager object that would allow you to avoid having so many global variables in your code (which is generally frowned upon). This would also make it useful for other programmers who may import your code as a module so they can do their own process stuff."
